The Saucer and the Ghosts

By armanaut

I was at the end of the street that my parents live. There is a patch of grass and a water sprinkler [village sprinkler pool] at the end of their street. I was standing in the grass looking in the sky towards the north. To the west I looked and saw what looked like a “helicopter” flying east incredibly fast for a helicopter. It flew over my head and disappeared in the east. A few minutes later the helicopter [same object] again appeared in the west flying east and disappeared. It kept doing this and each time, the copter’s speed across the sky above and overhead increased greatly. It was obviously going too fast for a helicopter or even a jet. Then as I looked for maybe the fourth or fifth time, the copter did not look like a copter, but a saucer and flew across the sky in a flash, but with one minor detail, there was another “saucer” behind it, but it appeared as a “ghost”. It was transparent to a degree. For some reason I felt that it was only an illusion of seeing two saucers in the sky. In my gut I knew that what I was seeing was one and the same craft and that the speed of the craft was causing the effect of seeing two crafts. This continued and continued and finally I saw, instead of one “ghost” following the solid craft, I saw several “ghosts” of the craft, one right after almost on top of each other fly with a speed my eyes could no longer keep up with. Somewhere a radio was playing in my head bringing news reports of an object that has exceeded and shattered our understanding of the limit of how fast objects can reach in our atmosphere and that this particular object was traveling around the world in the sky in seconds as if there was no atmosphere and no friction to contend with.

I remember feeling this was a breakthrough advance for science and aviation travel. However this is all I could remember of this dream. The secrets behind its speed, its overcoming of friction and the atmosphere will have to remain hidden until someday someone or something solves it.
